Job Responsibilities
- Perform interior design duties related to programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
- Determine and satisfy building code and sustainability requirements
- Select and specify interior finishes, furniture, lighting, artwork, and interior signage
- Produce presentation graphics in the form of drawings, sketches, 3D models, and renderings to appropriately convey design vision to clients and end users
- Generate interior construction documents including finish plans, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
- Collaborate with the design and construction team, consultants, vendors, and owners
- Coordinate with the design and construction team, consultants, vendors, and owners
- Participate in field verification, site inspections, shop drawing review, and other related construction administration activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited school
- 10+ years of interior design experience
Qualifications
- NCIDQ Certification (required)
- Proficient with Revit, Word, Excel, Bluebeam and other graphics related programs
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3-D modeling programs is preferred
- Sustainability credentials such as LEED AP or WELL AP preferred
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Design portfolio of significant built or unbuilt work - prepared to share contributions with the project teams
Skills

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations;
- The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds;
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information.
