About the role

The Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is responsible for ensuring that all systems and networks within the organization comply with security policies and standards. This includes conducting security assessments, managing security incidents, and providing guidance on security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Managing security incidents and responding to security breaches.
• Providing guidance and training to IT staff on security best practices.
• Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into business processes.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, including at least 3 years as an ISSO.
• A current Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
