As a Senior Industrial Security Specialist, you will provide senior-level industrial security support to a Department of Defense customer supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office mission. About the role

In this role, you will provide critical industrial security support, engage with senior leaders and stakeholders, ensure compliance with security requirements, and contribute to mission success across a dynamic Department of Defense environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level industrial security support, including security documentation, compliance tracking, action management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Prepare and support senior-level briefings, reports, data calls, and customer updates related to industrial security activities.
  • Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to manage complex security actions, resolve issues, and support mission execution.
  • Review security files, trackers, correspondence, and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Support process improvement, issue identification, and risk mitigation activities across industrial security workflows.
  • Provide experienced guidance to team members and support disciplined execution of security requirements.
  • Support administrative processes and document management activities within a secure environment.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with senior government, military, and contractor personnel.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience supporting industrial security, facility security, program security, or related Department of Defense security functions.
  • Specialized experience supporting flag officer-level briefings and senior-level customer interfaces.
  • Experience coordinating security actions across government and contractor organizations.
  • Ability to obtain the Industrial Security Oversight Certification through CDSE (Center for Development of Security Excellence) within one year of hire.
  • Master's degree and 10 years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree and 14 additional years of related experience may be considered.
  • Ability to work on site in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, including CONUS and OCONUS travel, as required.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SAP (Special Access Program) eligibility preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance utilized within the last two years preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a secure facility.
  • Prior experience supporting a Security Countermeasure environment.
  • Current and active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition, operational, or security programs.
  • Industrial Security Oversight Certification through CDSE.

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting administrative processes and document management in a secure facility.
  • Ability to work effectively with government and contractor personnel.
  • Excellent experience preparing reports, briefings, correspondence, and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to security compliance.
  • Experience reviewing security documentation, action tracking systems, and compliance records.
  • Ability to identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

This position is 100% on-site. Must be able to work in the Arlington, Virginia office Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Regular in-person attendance is required to support customer engagement, collaboration, and mission requirements.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SAP (Special Access Program) eligibility is preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance utilized within the last two years is preferred.

Additional Information

Travel up to 10% may be required. Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required by program needs.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
