Position Responsibilities
- Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
- Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action
- Conducts administrative inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
- Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
- Develops, implements and administers security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or highly complex programs
- Contributes to enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) and participates in the review cycle and decision-making process for enterprise export compliance, procedures (PROs), Business Process Instructions (BPI's) and Desktop Instructions (DI's)
- Provides innovation and creativity into security awareness training and education program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
- Completes tasks toward long-range goals and objectives
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security working as a CPSO/ACPSO on Special Access Programs (SAP)
- 1+ years of experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations manual (NISPOM) and in NISP related security programs
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- Experience with implementing and writing government policy
- Experience in personnel security administration, physical security, supplier security and/or other programmatic security-related fields
- Experience as assistant or alternate FSO or CSSO or ACSSO
