About the role
Phillips Lytle is expanding our Immigration Practice, serving high-profile clients including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in industries such as telecommunications, technology, energy, nanotechnology, manufacturing, healthcare, and life sciences. We seek a senior attorney with eight or more years of experience to support our national practice, handling complex visa and permanent residency applications for U.S. companies and their foreign national workforce.
Responsibilities
- Manage employment-based green cards and non-immigrant visas, including H-1Bs, L-1s, O-1s, E-1, E-2, E-3, and TN matters under the USMCA Free Trade Agreement.
- Provide advisory services, manage client deliverables, and prepare foreign nationals for visa and consulate interviews.
- Respond to audits, offer I-9 guidance, and handle federal administrative court matters.
- Resolve border-related issues and prepare relevant filings.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and specialized paralegals.
- Manage client relationships; portable business is preferred.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in U.S. immigration law.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
- Superior written, oral, and analytic abilities.
- Experience with employment-based immigration, including visa applications and compliance.

Pay
Annual salary range: $152,000–$225,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on location, experience, volume and nature of portable business, or other job-related factors permitted by law.
