- Partner with Hiring Managers to develop position profiles and understand staffing needs
- Sources, screens, and qualifies candidates prior to hiring team interviews
- Covers all recruitment logistics while delivering an exceptional candidate experience
- Maintains accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System and keeps the job description bank and org charts current
- Builds and maintains a pipeline of candidates for future opportunities
- Tracks and reports on active searches and talent acquisition metrics
- Delivers a best-in-class onboarding experience for all new hires

- Partners with leaders to implement programs focused on retention, engagement, recognition, development, and organizational design
- Designs and leads employee engagement initiatives, surveys, focus groups, recognition programs, and team building, that elevate the work experience and make employees feel valued and heard
- Serves as a trusted advisor on HR policy, employee relations, leaves of absence, and compensation
- Champions a culture that reflects Synergy's values and fosters belonging and inclusion
- Proactively checks in to ensure all work groups are functioning positively and coaches managers on performance management, employee development, and career pathing
- Transforms the employee lifecycle, reimagining how Synergy attracts, develops, and retains top talent through growth opportunities, manager relationships, and culture
- Manages the performance review program and administers Synergy’s talent management software
- Conducts exit interviews, identifies resignation trends, and advises leadership on reducing turnover
- Guides managers through employee relations issues with the help of consultants and attorneys
- Coaches and advises employees on problem resolution; helps them identify solutions and encourages them to constructively resolve conflicts
- Builds relationships across all levels of the organization

Total Rewards and Compliance
- Collaborates with Accounting & Finance to plan and oversee employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, life, disability, time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee referral
- Analyzes and makes recommendations for benefit renewals; hosts open enrollment sessions
- Drafts and maintains company and restaurant policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and clear communication to all employees
- Maintains confidential employee records, including payroll and benefits information
- Oversees HR-related software and systems (HRIS)
- Performs other duties as assigned

Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of related HR experience
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build commitment to business objectives
- End-to-end experience in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management
- Strong working knowledge of HR functions including total rewards, compliance, and talent management
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms; strong Excel skills preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability with high attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who drives initiatives through to completion
