About the role

The Senior Human Resources Manager supports the HR generalist functions of more than one light industrial plant and independently manages the HR functions at one specific location.

Responsibilities

• Manage turnover and recruiting
• Oversee payroll and benefits administration
• Drive positive employee relations
• Act as the "go-to" consultant for performance management, disciplinary documentation, investigations, and coaching/training for managers and field HR managers
• Provide guidance to HR managers at other locations to ensure compliance with the Company's legal obligations under the FMLA, ADA, EEO/Affirmative Action, Workers' Compensation, Unemployment, OSHA, and other employment laws

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business or Human Resources management or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years' Human Resources management experience
• Experience in compensation, benefits, recruiting, hiring, and training
• Ability to travel 35% of the time with overnight stays
