Argus Medical Management is a well established physician practice management company located in Cypress, CA. We provide billing, staffing, credentialing, marketing, systems, accounting and purchasing services to over 300 physicians in L.A. and Orange Counties. We currently have an opening for a Senior Human Resources Manager. Job Type: Full-time, Direct HirePay: $104,000.00 - $124,800.00 per yearHours: Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts Essential Functions SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES: On-going knowledge, development and execution of HR policy and procedureImmediate response to disciplinary issues and employee relationsRoutine training and guidance to Managers and Supervisors in all HR related mattersAnnual review of Employee HandbookManagement of employee records/personnel files; compliance reporting and I-9 documentationDeveloping and maintaining job descriptions for all positionsCoordinating annual employee evaluation programResearching local market for rate of pay increases and salary levels for key positionsKey liaison to H.R. consulting firm on retainerAssisting management with recruiting effortsPerform other duties as assigned. Benefits Administration Responsibilities Developing and procuring all materials required for benefits administration including managing the open enrollment processAbility to design cost effective benefits programs by working with brokers to negotiate rates on the best pricingMaintaining the FSA planCoordinating all aspects of pension / 401k plan including submitting data for testing, new employee enrollment, loans, etc.Reconciliation of monthly benefits invoices to employee census/scheduled payroll deductionsManaging leave of absences and be knowledgeable of leave laws such as PDL, FMLA, CFRA, and ADA as well as the integration of the leavesPerform other duties as assigned. Payroll Responsibilities Understanding of the payroll system and be able to fully utilize the reports module for payroll census for various needsBe responsible for all payroll functions and all payroll personnelBe able to administer the full payroll cycle for all companies Qualifications And Skills 5-7 years of progressively responsible generalist and supervision experienceExcellent knowledge of labor law, benefits administrationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical skills with the ability to manipulate data in ExcelWorking knowledge of ADP Payroll/HRIS system and 401k Plan Sponsor or other vendors with the ability to learn very quicklyWorking knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Search and e-mail Experience, Licenses, Certification And Education Requirements Bachelors Degree in related field or actual equivalent work experienceExperience managing HR operations across multiple IDs, entities, and locations, ensuring consistent practices, compliance, and support across all business units. Other Requirements Limited travel out of the Los Angeles AreaPrivate automobile in good working condition with the ability to drive to meetings as needed.Ability to have flexible hours to include early morning or late night meetings.Auto Insurance with $100,000 /$300,000 coverage limitsRequires adherence to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
