The roster has an opening with your name on it. FanDuel is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our HR Business Partner Team. This role will be the go-to resource for people managers and employees, providing expert guidance on employee relations, manager coaching, HR policies, and miscellaneous inquiries. In this fast-paced environment, the HR Generalist will be immersed in understanding the unique needs of their client groups, build strong business relationships, and be a champion of FanDuel Culture. The role extends beyond day-to-day support to driving core HR processes, leveraging HRIS systems for data-driven insights, and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employee lifecycle activities and identify opportunities to improve employee experience (onboarding, exits, policy questions, leaves, immigration, etc.).
  • Understand the intricacies and nuances of assigned employee populations to meet the demands of a fast-paced organization.
  • Keep a pulse on changes across the business and their impact on the organization.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to people managers and leaders on a broad range of employee relations cases, interpretation of HR policy and procedure, and employee/manager inquiries.
  • Coordinate and drive execution of core HR processes for the Technology organization (e.g., Annual Performance Management processes, D&I initiatives, Talent Reviews, Learning and Development offerings).
  • Leverage HRIS systems (Dayforce and Workday) for employee data and reporting with a strong commitment to confidentiality and employee data privacy. Drive employee self-service of HRIS systems.
  • Proactively use data to compile metrics for the HR Business Partner team when engaging client groups.
  • Support the HRBP Director with coordination and logistics for people programs as needed.
  • Proactively identify actions to drive employee motivation and engagement within supported teams.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee trends around retention. Raise talent risk concerns appropriately.
  • Foster effective relationships with cross-functional partners within Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, etc.).
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture that enables employees to be their best selves.
  • Champion FanDuel Culture and FanDuel Principles, encouraging managers and employees to incorporate them into their day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • 3-4 years of experience within Human Resources; experience in an employee-facing role is preferred.
  • Comfortability with using data and deriving insights.
  • Ability to operate in a continuously changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build strong business relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity in a continuously changing environment.
  • Technically savvy with specific experience using Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and HR Information Systems.

Pay

The applicable salary range for this position is $86,000 - $108,000 USD, dependent on relevant experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and stock program participation.
