Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR leader for the Eau Claire Mill and trusted advisor to plant leadership
- Partner with operations leaders to align people strategies, lead engagement efforts, and culture-building initiatives that support business objectives
- Drive workforce planning initiatives to ensure a strong talent pipeline for current and future business needs
- Support organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement in a unionized manufacturing setting
- Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution
- Support labor relations activities, including contract administration, grievance management, and partnership with union representatives
- Lead and develop a team of 4-5 HR professionals
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous development within the HR team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Demonstrated HR leadership experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or unionized environment
- Experience supporting large employee populations in a fast-paced operation
- Proven experience leading HR teams and developing HR professionals
- Strong employee and labor relations experience
- Solid understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development principles
- Strong MS365, HRIS, and payroll systems experience
