About the role
Reporting into our central People & Organisation team in Austria, you'll work closely with colleagues across multiple countries. This role combines regional ownership with international collaboration and is ideal for someone who enjoys strategic HR work while staying close to the business and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and employees across the US and New Zealand on all HR-related topics.
- Coach managers and support the full employee lifecycle.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding for your regions.
- Manage HR operations, including employee documentation, payroll preparation, HR systems, and benefits administration.
- Oversee employee benefits in collaboration with our PEO and external providers.
- Act as the subject matter expert for US employment law, HR compliance, workplace safety, and occupational health.
- Foster positive employee relations and ensure a compliant, engaging work environment.
- Contribute to global HR initiatives, including leadership development, performance management, talent management, and HR systems.
- Collaborate across countries and functions to continuously improve HR processes.
Requirements
- Several years of HR experience, ideally in an international environment.
- Strong experience partnering with and coaching leaders.
- Solid knowledge of US employment law, HR compliance, employee benefits, workplace safety, and PEO structures.
- Hands-on experience across recruiting, HR operations, employee relations, and the full employee lifecycle.
- A strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- A collaborative personality who enjoys working in a global team, takes ownership, builds trusted relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid role based in Madison, WI. Works from the office at least two days per week and lives within approximately 1–2 hours' travel of the office.
