Senior HR Generalist - Benefits, Leave & Comp
Job Summary
In this role, you will support employees during moments that matter most—health decisions, family needs, and life transitions—by ensuring benefits and leave programs are accurate, compliant, and easy to understand. Your work will reduce organizational risk, strengthen trust in HR systems, and create confidence for employees and leaders alike.
Key Responsibilities
Own the administration and integrity of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other employer-sponsored plans
Serve as a trusted subject-matter expert for benefits, leave, and retirement programs—guiding employees with clarity and care
Lead the operational execution of Annual Open Enrollment, including system configuration, vendor coordination, employee communications, and post-enrollment audits
Administer the company’s 401(k) plan, ensuring accurate eligibility, contributions, distributions, compliance, and audit readiness
Manage end-to-end leave administration (FMLA, STD, LTD, parental, and personal leaves), ensuring compliance while providing steady, empathetic support
Partner closely with payroll, vendors, brokers, and HR leadership to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and seamless employee experiences
Maintain audit-ready documentation and reporting across benefits, retirement, and leave programs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on benefits, leave administration, and compliance
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, including benefits administration, leave tracking, employee data maintenance, and reporting
Working knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, ACA, and applicable state leave laws
Experience administering employee benefit programs and 401(k) plans
High attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion with sensitive information
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels
Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing
