Senior HR Analyst

About the role

This position is a 12-month Limited-Term position that may be extended and/or become permanent. The reporting location for this position is the Bateson Building located at 1600 9th Street, 2nd Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs complex, journey-level analytical and consultative work in support of human resources programs
• Provides classification, compensation, recruitment, examination, and performance management services
• Serves as a liaison with control agencies
• Advises management, supervisors, and employees on a wide range of personnel issues to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, policies, and best practices

• Experience in Human Resources
• Experience applying laws, rules, and regulations to your work

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
