About the role

The Environmental Services Tech at St. John's Hospital Camarillo is responsible for performing a variety of essential cleaning tasks to maintain and improve the appearance and sanitary condition of all campuses. This includes executing assigned cleaning protocols, utilizing appropriate equipment and chemicals, participating in quality control checks, engaging in staff development initiatives, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Cleans toilets, sinks and showers.
• Damp dust sanitizes and spot cleans furniture, lamps, window sills, walls, doors, and other horizontal surfaces in occupied patient areas and non-patient areas, as well as discharge/check-out cleaning.
• Empties, sanitizes, and relines all trash receptacles.
• Cleans and refills all soap and paper product dispensers.
• Washes windows, glass, and blinds.
• Washes walls and ceilings.

Requirements

Five (5) years of acute healthcare experience as an EVS Tech.

$24.00 - $27.35 /hour

Schedule

80 hours per pay period, 6:00 am-2:30 pm with rotating weekend commitment, Day shift, No remote work, No travel
