About the role
Merrill Gardens at Woodstock is seeking compassionate, caring, responsible, and honest Housekeepers to support residents in our beautiful community. This role is ideal for individuals who genuinely love working with the senior population and are dedicated to creating an atmosphere that values individualism and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and provide daily upkeep of resident apartments and common areas.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all residents and guests.
- Report needed supplies to the appropriate designee and coordinate housekeeping services with other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (must be at least 18 years of age).
- One to two years of housekeeping experience in a similar environment (preferred).
- Experience working with seniors or in a customer service-focused environment (helpful).
- Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 90 lbs), pushing/pulling, and other physical activities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
