Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers to meet with customers and introduce new clients to additional products and services.
- Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing initiatives.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories) and function effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Serve as the internal and external mortgage expert, maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase’s financial products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in your local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Employment is contingent on JP Morgan Chase’s review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries. Additionally, this role requires compliance with the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An offer is contingent on JPMC’s review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other factors relevant to financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with these requirements.
This position also requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon employment, you must register or update your existing registration to reflect your role at JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including annual renewal, is mandatory.
