Senior Home Lending Advisor - Dover NJ
About the role
Join our team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending and leverage your expertise in home lending products to serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the loan lifecycle. The Home Lending team will support you with specialized knowledge, enabling you to guide clients on a first-class journey to homeownership while delivering strong sales results. You will adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase’s financial products.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers to meet their customers and introduce new clients to additional products and services.
- Partner with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing initiatives.
- Develop strong partnerships with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, functioning effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Serve as the internal and external mortgage expert, building and maintaining strong customer relationships while providing consultative recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
- This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent on JPMC’s review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant factors to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration.
- National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is required. Upon employment, you must register or update your existing registration to reflect your role at JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including annual renewal, is mandatory for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
