About the role

As a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending, you will join a motivated team dedicated to guiding clients to fulfilling the dream of homeownership.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
• Works together with bankers, meets with their customers and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
• Collaborates with your team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
• Develops a strong partnership with the assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories), and functions well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Builds role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintains good relationships with customers.
• Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise, product knowledge, and knowledge of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
• 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
• Knowledge of real estate market in local area
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
• Subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators; employment offer contingent on JPMC's review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant information to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness.
• Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you.
• Continued employment contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.
• Requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008; upon active employment you must register on NMLS or update existing registration to reflect employment with JPMorgan Chase.
• Continued employment contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after start date, timely completion of annual renewal and required updates.
• Any information obtained during registration, update, renewal processes or through NMLS notifications may impact employment.
• Information provided in Chase online application may be transferred to NMLS by JPMorgan Chase.

Preferred Qualifications

• FHA/VA sales experience
• Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
• Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment

Pay

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set and location.
