Senior Home Lending Advisor - East Windsor, NJ

Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Work together with bankers, meet with customers, and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
- Collaborate with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories) and function well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Build your role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, expertise, product knowledge, and the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
Additional Information
This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. An employment offer is contingent on JP Morgan Chase's review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries. It is also subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators, requiring a review of criminal conviction history, credit report, and information available through NMLS. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, you will be required to register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date and timely completion of annual renewal, is mandatory. Any information obtained during registration, updates, or through NMLS notifications may impact your employment.
