Serve as the chief point of contact for customers throughout the life of the loan, leveraging your expertise in home lending products while collaborating with a supportive team. Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
  • Collaborate with bankers to meet their customers, introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services, and create an outstanding customer experience.
  • Utilize centrally managed marketing efforts such as direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell initiatives, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other strategies.
  • Develop strong partnerships with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, functioning effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
  • Serve as the internal and external mortgage expert, maintaining strong customer relationships and exhibiting consultative skills to provide tailored financial recommendations.
  • Analyze customer financial needs, goals, and circumstances to offer expert product knowledge and advice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
  • 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
  • Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FHA/VA sales experience.
  • Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
  • Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.

Notes

This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent on JPMorgan Chase’s review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant factors. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment requires compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.

This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon employment, you will be required to register or update your existing registration to reflect your role at JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including annual renewal, is mandatory. Information provided during the application process may be transferred to NMLS on your behalf.
