About the role
The Senior Healthcare Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting activities including billing, collections, and accounts receivable management
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to meet regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and patient care outcomes
- Provide financial analysis and support decision-making processes for facility management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare finance or accounting
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with healthcare-specific accounting software and systems
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards
