Senior Grants Manager

About the role

The Senior Grants Manager will oversee the entire grants management process, including proposal development, submission, monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding from various sources.
  • Maintain relationships with potential funders and stakeholders to ensure ongoing support and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of funded projects, ensuring compliance with all stipulations and deadlines.
  • Manage the financial aspects of grants, including budgeting, tracking expenditures, and managing cash flow.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate grant-funded activities into the overall strategic plan.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on the status of funded projects and the impact of grants on the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public policy, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in grants management or a similar field.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing grants from government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with funders and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of federal and state grant programs and regulations.
  • Experience with grant writing software and databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
