What’s the job?
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for private equity funds and SPVs
- Support NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions and expense allocations
- Review reporting packages and general ledger submissions from third-party administrators
- Prepare investor, lender and internal reporting packages with variance analysis and commentary
- Perform IRR calculations, management fee calculations and carried interest computations
- Aid in consolidations tied to acquisitions, refinancings and dispositions
- Partner with asset management and investment teams on operational and financial reporting
- Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and debt compliance monitoring
- Aid in quarterly foreign currency translations and regulatory filings
- Drive process improvements and support implementation of reporting technologies
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and month-end close activities
What’s needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA required
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting or fund finance experience
- Background in private equity, real estate, infrastructure or public accounting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Experience with fund structures, SPVs and complex legal entities
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables and lookups
- Experience with Yardi, Investran, Wdesk or similar fund accounting platforms preferred
- Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a transaction-driven environment
