Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (React/Node)

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to our users
• Work in a fast-paced CI/CD Kanban environment and participate actively in feature development and bug resolution
• Manage multiple projects with material-technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner
• Extend functionality and maintain zero customer-reported bugs on several Reputation products
• Mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in designing & implementing highly interactive UI for high-volume robust web applications
• Undergraduate degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered
• Solid programming skills in JavaScript and React.js / Node.js
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Advanced knowledge experience working with relational databases (i.e. Postgres), including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
• Experience working in a Cloud environment (We are migrating to GCP)
