Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python, React, SQL Server)
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and data solutions that drive business value across the organization. This role combines expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Python-based services and APIs, and React-based user interfaces to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders to create innovative solutions while adhering to enterprise engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React.
- Build scalable and secure REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, schemas, stored procedures, views, and queries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Follow secure coding practices and software development standards.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of software development experience, including 4-6 years with MS SQL Server and Python coding.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python development, strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and database design, experience developing modern web applications using React, experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices, experience working within Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent source control platforms.
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks.
- Exposure to AI/ML solutions and modern data platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.

Pay
$67/hr - $72/hr
Schedule
This position follows a hybrid model, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
