Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python, React, SQL Server)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and database design.
• Strong proficiency in Python development.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent source control platforms.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks.
• Exposure to AI/ML solutions and modern data platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.

What You Will Be Doing

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React.
Build scalable and secure REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
Participate in technical design reviews and architectural discussions.
Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, schemas, stored procedures, views, and queries.
Analyze and improve application performance through database optimization and tuning.
Develop and maintain data models that support business and reporting requirements.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Contribute to solution documentation, operational readiness, and production support activities.
Develop automated testing and monitoring capabilities.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Follow secure coding practices and software development standards.
Continuously identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
