Key Responsibilities

  • Floor Leadership & Guest Experience:
    • Embody Chicken N Pickle’s core values: Authenticity, Community, Connection, Integrity, and Quality.
    • Lead daily floor operations, ensuring smooth flow between the kitchen, bar, courts, and dining areas.
    • Deliver superior service by touching tables, interacting with guests, and proactively resolving issues.
    • Respond efficiently to customer complaints and feedback during the shift.
    • Perform in an active, fast-paced, indoor and outdoor venue, during inclement weather, holidays, weekends, and nights.
  • Operational & Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure daily compliance with all sanitation, health department, and safety regulations.
    • Enforce all local and federal alcohol laws and guidelines without exception.
    • Conduct opening and closing duties, including cash handling, facility walkthroughs, and security checks.
    • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the facility during shifts.
  • Team Management & Training:
    • Train and coach hourly team members (servers, bartenders, hosts, support) on proper service practices.
    • Support the AGM/GM in appraising staff performance and providing feedback to improve productivity.
    • Promote continuous skill development for the team through coaching and participation in training programs.
    • Foster a positive work environment that supports diversity, equality, and inclusion.
  • Administrative & Financial Support:
    • Assist in controlling operational costs by monitoring labor in real-time and identifying measures to cut waste.
    • Support inventory counts and ordering processes for assigned departments.
    • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience through community engagement and Happy Hour promotion.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant management experience.
  • Operational Skills: Proven track record of running successful, high-volume shifts.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic restaurant software.
  • Soft Skills: Strong motivational and people skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
