Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all financial activities adhere to local and international regulations and standards.
  • Keep the company up to date with evolving financial laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance across the team.
  • Lead, develop and maintain advanced financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
  • These models should enable scenario analysis and assist in long-term strategic planning.
  • Monitor and optimize the company's cash flow, ensuring that it is sufficient for daily operations and strategic investments.
  • Implement cost control measures across the organization to drive efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
  • Oversee financial systems and tools to ensure accuracy, reliability, and security.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and work with IT teams to implement improvements.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with teams to communicate financial performance and strategies to business leadership and report identified cost-saving opportunities.
  • Be prepared to navigate financial crises or unexpected economic challenges by developing contingency plans and strategies to ensure business continuity and financial stability.
  • Lead, mentor, develop and grow a dynamic, global team of finance professionals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in progressive finance roles including FP&A experience.
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and modern tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • A strong continuous improvement mindset to always challenge the way things have been done, bring new efficiencies and evolve processes.
  • Strategic thinking and a proven ability to drive financial initiatives and connect the dots.
  • Outstanding proactive communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A deep commitment to the company's mission and values, along with a passion for contributing to its growth and success.
