Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly forecasting, outlook updates, and long-range strategic planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models supporting rolling forecasts and scenario planning.
  • Analyze monthly results and communicate business performance versus established goals.
  • Present financial trends and forward-looking insights to senior leadership.
  • Independently determine modeling methodologies and reporting structures.
  • Analyze large volumes of financial and non-financial data to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to Finance and Sales leadership to support informed decision-making.
  • Perform advanced financial modeling including IRR, NPV, DCF, cost of capital modeling, regression analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Support pricing reviews through pro-forma customer financial analysis.
  • Contribute to annual plan development for assigned business units.
  • Partner cross-functionally (and occasionally globally) with operations, sales, and other business functions.
  • Lead monthly budget vs. actual reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement in P&L forecasting, reporting, target setting, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Create standardized analytical templates to support broader finance team efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
  • Coordinate interactions between finance and operational systems.
  • Support KPI development, tracking, and incentive/bonus calculation and verification.
  • Improve financial performance by monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure reporting integrity across SAP, BPC, Workday Adaptive, AFO, and related systems.
  • Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Conduct operational and market trend analysis to identify emerging data needs.
  • Proactively identify new reporting and analytical requirements aligned to business growth strategies.
  • Integrate business insight with financial modeling to drive forward-looking recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (required).
  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of FP&A experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership with financial insights.
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
  • Expertise in IRR, NPV, DCF, capital asset pricing, cost modeling, regression analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Advanced Excel, Access, and financial data modeling capabilities.
  • Strong Power BI dashboard development skills.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, BPC, Workday Adaptive, AFO, workflow/reporting modules.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational processes.
  • Knowledge of big data analysis methodologies.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Travel up to 20%, including occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • MBA or advanced financial degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and CPQ systems.
  • Experience in the retail segment.
