Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned Supervisor, train and provide technical guidance to other district, CSSF accounting personnel and SCOE departmental accounting personnel; process County auditor apportionments and journals; perform oversight of fiscal evaluation for assigned districts and funds. Perform complex statistical analysis of financial data, prepare State and departmental reports detailing the results; develop and utilize analytical tools and models for the analysis of data. Provide recommendations based on sound fiscal detail to management.

Education and Experience: Associate's degree in accounting, bookkeeping or related field and four years increasingly responsible related accounting experience, including at least two years of governmental fund accounting experience and experience with advanced techniques in the use of computerized spreadsheets. A combination of education, training, and experience that could provide the desired skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered.

Pay

Pay Range $36.73 - $44.94 Per Hour (Range 18, CSEA Classified Hourly Salary Schedule). External candidates please note: Initial salary placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 3 $40.87/HR (Article 14.9, CSEA Articles of Agreement).

Schedule

247 Work Days/261 Paid Days per year, 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Full Time.

Benefits

A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
