About the role

We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst – Senior to join our team specializing in finance for our Cummins’ business in Ladson, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, insight-driven financial analyses and reports that support informed decision-making for leadership
  • Partner with business units to develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational priorities
  • Build and refine expense, headcount, and forecasting models to drive financial planning accuracy and accountability
  • Consolidate and interpret financial data, providing clear variance analysis and actionable recommendations to improve performance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies through detailed cost analysis and financial trend evaluation
  • Support leadership with ad hoc analyses and special projects that address evolving business needs and challenges
  • Enhance reporting processes and tools to improve data accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial information
  • Coach and guide junior analysts, strengthening team capability, consistency, and overall financial acumen

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Drive results through action and strong business partnering by proactively addressing challenges, collaborating with stakeholders, and influencing decisions aligned to organizational goals
  • Leverage financial expertise in analysis, reporting, and forecasting to deliver accurate insights, identify risks/opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Communicate clearly and manage complexity by translating financial data into meaningful, audience-specific insights and simplifying complex information for stakeholders
  • Continuously improve and grow by optimizing processes, maintaining GAAP compliance, seeking development opportunities, and using feedback and diverse perspectives to enhance performance

Qualifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
  • Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
  • Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.

Skills

  • Strong Excel and ERP Knowledge required.
  • PowerBI and SharePoint experience desirable.

Benefits

This team primarily works in office 100% of the time, but there is flexibility to work from home on an as-needed basis.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
