About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at our Jacksonville, Florida location. This role provides financial support to our management teams, ensuring best-in-class financial processes and reporting, compliance with IFRS, and driving reliable and accurate information about the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the preparation of budgets, operating plans, forecasts, and investment strategies for the Transformation Office.
  • Critically review and contribute to building the business plan, validating implementation outcomes, supporting calculations for actuals and forecasts, and reconciling results with the P&L.
  • Co-drive results with other stakeholders to achieve ambitious company-set targets.
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making towards achieving the budget and strategic plan.
  • Build and enhance reporting to provide meaningful insights into current and future performance.
  • Liaise directly with different Transformation Office stakeholders for financial insight on both current period analytics and point-of-view development for forecast builds.
  • Manage delivery of key reporting metrics for Kraton Leadership Team.
  • Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred.
  • Experience with BPC a plus.
  • Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience.
  • Ability to work in a highly automated environment and translate data into meaningful business information.
  • Effective communication skills – written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation, with an emphasis on the English language.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA preferred.
  • Chemical industry or manufacturing experience required.
