About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Transformation, plays a critical role in the financial integration of Oncology and Multi Specialty entities into McKesson’s enterprise SAP S/4HANA platform. This position partners closely with IT, business, and Finance leaders to ensure strong financial governance, capital transparency, and disciplined execution across large scale transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- S/4 Program Financial Management & Capital Analytics
- Serve as the primary finance partner for the Oncology and Multi-Specialty SAP S/4HANA program, providing end-to-end financial oversight for capital spend, program budgets, and investment tracking.
- Ensure financial discipline, transparency, and alignment to approved funding.
- Budgeting, Cost Modeling & Business Case Support
- Collaborate with program and IT leaders to develop and manage program budgets, perform cost modeling, and support business case development and validation.
- Provide financial insights that inform funding decisions and support enterprise investment governance.
- Funding Governance & Financial Controls
- Prepare and support project funding requests, CAR documentation, and WBS structure definition and alignment.
- Ensure compliance with McKesson financial policies and accurate capitalization and expense treatment throughout the project lifecycle.
- SAP Financial Execution & Month-End Close Support
- Manage monthly SAP activities including accruals, reclassifications, reporting, and variance analysis across project WBS elements.
- Validate actuals against budget and collaborate with BU IT finance partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & SAP Transition Support
- Partner closely with IT, project management, Enterprise Finance, and external vendors to support UAT activities, PR/PO and contract invoicing through Ariba, and successful financial execution during the SAP S/4HANA transition.
- Proactively identify and escalate financial risks or gaps.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirement
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or transformation roles, especially in healthcare finance, particularly physician practice or specialty care integration.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and value creation initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with evolving priorities.
- Strong skills in MS Office tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, & Power BI.
- Knowledge in SAP, Field Glass, Planview, Workday, FDP, BPC/SAC, & Ariba preferred.
Pay
$101,900 - $169,900 USD Annual with 15% MIP
