Job Description

This Sr. FP&A Analyst role under Corporate Planning Organization will support driving GFP&A activities for the entire company. This position will involve analyzing and developing content for CFO, product groups, investor relations and treasury, and presenting that content in an effective way. This person will focus on key strategic projects, long term planning and forecasting, portfolio reviews, spend, productivity metrics, and efficiency KPIs across the company, and help summarize the data related to market trends and drivers, competitors, business unit financials in a meaningful way. The position requires high level of diligence as majority of the reporting and presentations will be serving the executive management of the company.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own long term forecasting and planning cycles including 5-year strategic reviews and portfolio reviews
  • Owning Cycle Management
  • Interpret financial forecasts and results into insights and recommendations for presentation to executives
  • Provide financial modeling, analysis, and support for strategic projects
  • Perform spend analytics in a meaningful way that takes into account business understanding towards actionable insights
  • Act as a finance business partner and subject matter expert across the business
  • Manage and update content as needed for investor relations events and board meetings
  • Identify and implement reporting of key financial metrics that enable meaningful insights and improve the visibility to company’s financial results
  • Identify and drive impactful process standardizations across Finance
  • Partner with GIS to enable implementation of reporting systems and processes across Finance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree, CPA, CFA preferred) – Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business-related degree preferred
  • 8-12 years of experience in Finance/Accounting for reputable firms
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, data visualization
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling and reporting skills
  • Attention to details, ability to think clearly, work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Curiosity to learn the business, improve processes and strive for excellence
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Experience in implementing new finance technology such as Tableau, Big Data, etc. a plus
