Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial FP&A
About the role
We are seeking an analytic problem solver and curiosity-driven team member to join us in Commercial Real Estate Finance. As a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting and presentation, financial modeling, and relationship building. You will manage the P&L for the Agency Finance segment of the Commercial Real Estate business, serving as the first point of contact for our key stakeholders, including executive business leadership.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting for areas of responsibility
- Deliver accurate and meaningful financial management analyses to enable our partners to deliver on their financial and business objectives
- Build and deliver presentations that communicate key results, outcomes, and actions to senior audiences
- Provide transparency on costs and drivers, and clearly communicate risks and opportunities to budget targets
- Address and deliver on ad-hoc requests and special projects, often in an ambiguous environment
- Independently manage and prioritize workload
- Demonstrate a passion to learn and continuously develop traditional FP&A and technical skills
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or military experience, At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance, At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Financial Analyst, Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Financial Analyst. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
