Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial FP&A
About the role
We are seeking an analytic problem solver and curiosity-driven team member to join us in Commercial Real Estate Finance. As a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting and presentation, financial modeling, and relationship building.
You will manage the P&L for the Agency Finance segment of the Commercial Real Estate business, serving as the first point of contact for our key stakeholders, including executive business leadership. In addition to owning the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes for the business, there will also be ample opportunities to work on ad-hoc projects, which often support driving future business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting for areas of responsibility
- Deliver accurate and meaningful financial management analyses to enable our partners to deliver on their financial and business objectives
- Build and deliver presentations that communicate key results, outcomes, and actions to senior audiences
- Provide transparency on costs and drivers, and clearly communicate risks and opportunities to budget targets
- Address and deliver on ad-hoc requests and special projects, often in an ambiguous environment
- Independently manage and prioritize workload
- Demonstrate a passion to learn and continuously develop traditional FP&A and technical skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience. At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance. At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination.
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Financial Analyst, Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Financial Analyst. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
