Position Overview

Tract Capital is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance team. Reporting to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role serves as a key finance liaison across various functional departments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain processes and financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytic requirements of the Business
  • Support the capital management process through regular budgeting and continuous forecasting of multiple capital projects
  • Build partnerships with functional managers across multiple disciplines to understand business drivers, trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Enforce expense policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Company expectations
  • Prepare financial updates and reports for the Executive team and key business partners on singular project or consolidated levels
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and communicate spend patterns, key metrics, and business performance
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiencies, standardization, and automation around current financial processes
  • Special projects, ad hoc financial reporting, and analysis

Required Traits, Expertise, and Skills

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; 3–5 years of relevant work experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Technical / Functional Expertise: Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements; highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications; ability to extract, analyze, and communicate data with relevant, clear, and actionable takeaways
  • Industry Experience: Experience or knowledge within the construction and/or energy industry is a plus
  • Core Skills & Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple levels and functions within the company; ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal oversight; results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines; strong operational focus, with the ability to drive scalable, repeatable processes and execution; intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving orientation; high ethical standards and integrity

Expected Salary Range

$100,000 - $120,000 + Discretionary Bonus
