With over 40 years of operational and real estate expertise, the company manages a portfolio of more than 85 real estate projects valued at approximately $2.8 billion.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Projections & Reporting
    • Complete semi-annual forecast updates on deals, including operating, debt and equity cash flows.
    • Provide projections and analysis related to new leasing & financing.
    • Analyze Argus models for various asset types.
    • Support the reporting of actual and pro-forma performance of each deal.
    • Research and resolve issues related to financial performance.
    • Aid in preparing various internal and external reports.
    • Support semi-annual portfolio valuation.
  • Equity Management
    • Review and analyze each deal-level projected cash flow, using financial models and reporting.
    • Recommend contributions and/or distributions to investors.
    • Understand and ensure adherence to fee structure on each deal.
    • Update and maintain accurate waterfall models for various equity structures.
    • Provide investor administration support, including the delivery of capital calls, distribution notices, and investor reporting.
  • Debt Management
    • Oversee timely and efficient construction loan draws to maximize proceeds.
    • Ensure full compliance with all loan agreements and analyze proforma covenant compliance.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Interest and/or experience in private equity.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis environment; mortgage or Commercial Real Estate industry is preferred.
  • Skilled at financial modeling in MS Excel:
    • Firm understanding of Time-Value-Money fundamentals.
    • Able to work with existing models and build custom analyses.
    • Build meaningful and actionable graphic summaries.
  • Experience with loan and partnership agreements.
  • Ability to prepare concise and informative written presentations in MS Word, MS Power Point.
  • Working knowledge of Argus (RCS will enroll new analysts for certification course if needed).
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects/deadlines.
  • Self‐motivated.
  • Ability to work flexible hours/overtime.
  • Creative and analytic problem solvers.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to comply with company rules and regulations.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with internal and external customers through two-way verbal and written communication (speech, hearing, and writing).
  • Ability to operate various office equipment efficiently (computer, phone, copier, etc.).

Pay

The pay range for this role is: $90,000 - $110,000 USD per year (Louisville)
