Market Analysis
- Performs market analysis using historical data to forecast market trends and determine market elasticity.
- Includes understanding seasonality, marketing programs, capacity constraints, future expansion plans, and regulatory changes.
- Predicts competitor market growth.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Generates and analyzes the Annual Capital and Operating Budgets.
- Assists in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecast.
- Compares actual operating results to budget and prior year.
- Develops and maintains communication vehicles to distribute key operating metrics and analytical findings.
- Monitors labor costs and reports to financial team and operations departments.
- Prepares ad-hoc reporting.
Customer Service & Regulatory Compliance
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from an accredited four-year college or university required.
- Minimum one (1) year of applicable analytical experience required.
- Knowledge of casino industry strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Able to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and work under the pressure of short time constraints.
- Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
