About the role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at Kraton. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, this role supports management teams by providing best-in-class financial processes and reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and driving shareholder value.
Responsibilities
- Support in the preparation of budgets, operating plans, forecasts, and investment strategies for Supply Chain
- Build and maintain data hygiene strategies for correct purchase order set up, input data management, and building blocks for analysis
- Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
- Build and enhance reporting to provide meaningful insight into current and future performance
- Liaise directly with Segment Controllers and VP Supply Chain and Logistics for financial insight on both current period analytics as well as point of view development for forecast builds
- Manage delivery of key reporting metrics for Kraton Pine Chemical Leadership Team
- Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Knowledge of accounting policies and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills, detailed-oriented with focus on quality and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills)
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment
- SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred
- Experience with BPC a plus
- Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience preferred
- Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful business information
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation) with an emphasis in the English language
- Solid judgment and decision-making skills
- Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA preferred
- Chemical industry or manufacturing experience required
