About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at Kraton. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, this role supports management teams by providing best-in-class financial processes and reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and driving shareholder value.

Responsibilities

  • Support in the preparation of budgets, operating plans, forecasts, and investment strategies for Supply Chain
  • Build and maintain data hygiene strategies for correct purchase order set up, input data management, and building blocks for analysis
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the company's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
  • Build and enhance reporting to provide meaningful insight into current and future performance
  • Liaise directly with Segment Controllers and VP Supply Chain and Logistics for financial insight on both current period analytics as well as point of view development for forecast builds
  • Manage delivery of key reporting metrics for Kraton Pine Chemical Leadership Team
  • Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, detailed-oriented with focus on quality and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills)
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment
  • SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred
  • Experience with BPC a plus
  • Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful business information
  • Effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation) with an emphasis in the English language
  • Solid judgment and decision-making skills
  • Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA preferred
  • Chemical industry or manufacturing experience required
