Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Works closely with the program manager to ensure the program and the program’s projects funding is properly maintained.
- Serves as the liaison between the Program Manager and government CFO team.
- Tracks MIPR level execution by project, integrates Service/Agency MIPR reporting data (distribution, obligation, accrual, disbursement, PM expenditure) data with FM tracking and DFAS reporting data.
- Executes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years' work-related experience in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, managing and monitoring budgets.
- Proven ability to create, track and adjust budgets and spend plans, ensuring alignment with budget authority, funds availability and project timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends or discrepancies, and develop practical solutions to improve financial reporting.
- Experience working within the NCR region with DoD and/or Service organizations and individuals.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively across a multi-Service environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include advanced Excel skills.
- Must be within 100 miles of Northern Virginia and must be willing to travel to Northern Virginia and other areas as required.
