Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Provide support to the Biometrics and Identity Document Reading business area within HID Global. Focus on financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business partnering with the business area management team and key functions, including sales, marketing, operations, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly analysis of the business area’s financial results and prepare management presentations.
• Investigate variances from historical performance and against forecasts, highlighting key business drivers.
• Create financial models to support P&L planning and analysis, with an in-depth understanding of revenues and costs.
• Provide financial insights to assess risk and highlight opportunities to achieve financial commitments.
• Support the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting processes, including planning for spending, headcount, cost savings, and investments.
• Work closely with the Financial Shared Services team to ensure accuracy of the business area financials.
• Support the business area reporting requirements, both recurring and ad-hoc.
• Prepare financial presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings.
• Partner with the business area management team and build strong working relationships.
• Assist business area controllers in preparation of strategy requirements, including what-if scenario planning.
• Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis timely and accurately as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree essential
• Accounting qualification preferable
• Public accounting experience with 1-2 years of post-practice industry experience, OR Commercial experience as a financial analyst 4-5 years
• End-To-End knowledge of P&L analysis under IFRS/GAAP
• Thorough understanding of business forecasting and financial modeling
• Proficient in MS Office applications, advanced Excel skills essential
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
• Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar Management Information system
• Experience with OneStream or similar financial consolidation and reporting system
• Self-starter with strong communication
• Positive attitude, ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work in a global environment and a matrix organization

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to reside and work in the hiring country.
