Senior Finance Manager, Card Tech

About the role

We are seeking a strong leader, communicator, and problem solver to join the Card Tech Finance team as a Sr. Manager. In this role you will lead, develop, and support associates to enable their best work, partner with Card Tech leaders using financial insights to influence strategy and outcomes, and analyze results to socialize drivers, impact, and recommendations. The position requires strategic thinking, executive-level communication, and leadership as you directly support members of the Card Tech leadership team and collaborate across the organization to deliver on Card’s agenda.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Card Tech finance team by supporting talent development, setting the team agenda, and driving high-impact outcomes
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Tech organization and integrate into the leadership team for the areas you support
• Translate financial results and forecasts into clear business narratives
• Build cross-functional relationships to execute on Card’s agenda
• Provide financial leadership to the team and key partners by leveraging insights to influence actions and results
• Communicate analytic insights through clear, high-impact, executive-ready presentations
• Attract, manage, coach, and develop direct reports
• Create connections across the team and organization to drive collaboration
• Own budget and forecast accuracy for areas of responsibility
• Apply sound business judgment to evaluate analytical results and formulate recommendations
• Analyze and explain key cost drivers and the annual financial trajectory
• Provide strategic insights and suggest actions to business and finance partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling
• At least 3 years of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function
• At least 1 year of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s degree in Finance
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• 5+ years of experience managing an FP&A function
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 1+ year of people management experience with both direct and indirect reports

Pay

McLean, VA: $177,700 – $202,800 for Sr Manager, Financial Analysis

Richmond, VA: $161,500 – $184,300 for Sr Manager, Financial Analysis

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Actual annualized salary will be reflected in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
