Senior Finance Analyst
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ROI-driven financial models to support key strategic initiatives, including product and platform investments, future launches, and incremental headcount.
- Support annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning with a focus on cost structure, operating leverage, and spend efficiency.
- Track and analyze key metrics for strategic product initiatives, including cost to serve, unit economics, and margin drivers at the product or initiative level.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to provide financial input into roadmap prioritization, sequencing decisions, and investment tradeoffs.
- Provide scenario-based analysis to quantify the financial impact of technology, tooling, and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to understand their financial impact and provide financial guidance for forecasting and modeling.
- Develop and analyze various financial scenarios to assess potential outcomes and risks.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic projects.
- Assist in the preparation of investor materials, presentations, and analyses for external discussions as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree or CFA a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in product finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a strong preference for experience within a SaaS or technology company.
SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of key SaaS metrics, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and the drivers of value in a subscription-based business model.
Financial Modeling Prowess: Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling (Excel or Google Sheets) with a proven ability to build robust, scalable, and dynamic models from scratch.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to understand the broader business context and how financial decisions impact overall company performance.
Tools: Proficiency with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Vena Solutions) and business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Qualifications

Pay
The amount below represents the expected annual base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors. Base Compensation Range: $105,000 USD - $130,000 USD
