Responsibilities
- Oversight of Compliance File Clerks to ensure all required documentation is placed accordingly in unaccompanied children’s files and promptly uploaded into the ORR UC Portal.
- Assign and coordinate staff to assist other program departments as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the filing process and make any necessary recommendations for improvements.
- Cookordination with the case management department to arrange flights for unaccompanied children and Escort Youth Care Workers and provide the sponsor(s) with the time of arrival and reunification.
- Support department staff to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to optimize performance as well as provide ongoing support to department staff to ensure the program operates effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinates with corporate to deliver closed files appropriately according to ORR policy.
- Provides flight itinerary to Senior Transporter, and any additional flight instructions needed as well as maintains and updates discharge tracking information stats for monthly reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age or older per licensing requirements.
- One (1) year of experience in childcare or residential care for children and/or adolescents.
- Bilingual - fluent in Spanish and English (read, write, speak).
- Valid Texas Driver’s license and proof of auto insurance; ability to meet Upbring’s insurance provider guidelines as an insured and approved driver.
- Maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to perform emergency behavior intervention (EBI) for UC in care.
- First aid, AED, and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment).

Physical Demands & Work Conditions
- Sitting and looking and using a computer for long periods of time.
- Position works in a child facility and has constant exposure to children.
- Frequent standing, walking and time in units/cottages which are areas where children reside.
- Lift, push, pull, move up to 125 lbs.
