Senior Field Service Technician

About the role

The Senior Field Service Technician supports the Oshkosh S-Series front discharge mixer product. This role involves performing diagnostics and repairs at customer sites, providing product orientation classes, and troubleshooting customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer product readiness within the assigned territory to support diagnostics and repairs.
• Provide product orientation classes at customer locations for various products.
• Onsite at customer locations, diagnose and repair all issues related to equipment.
• Aid dealer service technicians with diagnosing and repairing, either on-site, on the phone, or via email.
• Follow up on repairs made to customer equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns and develop best resolutions.
• Lead and mentor other Field Service Technicians as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and five (5) or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication, or previous relevant contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation.
• Valid driver’s license must be maintained at all times.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills, with demonstrated customer relationship and communication strengths.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including overnight travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Experience in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.
