The AVI-SPL Senior Service Technician will work in partnership with the Global Helpdesk to provide Service support for customers at customer sites with the end goals of restoring functionality to our customers’ assets while delivering a world-class Customer Service experience. What You’ll Do The AVI-SPL Senior Field Service Technician will work in partnership with the Global Helpdesk to provide Service support for customers at customer sites with the end goals of restoring functionality to our customers’ assets while delivering a world-class Customer Service experience. Day-To-Day Responsibilities Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client baseClean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans, as a part of Preventative MaintenanceTake Responsibly for completing accurate job documentation as neededEnsure equipment delivery and associated responsibilities for assigned assignments Field installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware) – upload and download capabilityField service support of control programs (AMX / Crestron/etc.) – minor edits (could be with the aid of a programmer), compile, upload and download capabilityIntermediate Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.) Perform service tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects and hanging ceiling mounts Assist next level service technicians as neededProvide client training as needed Adhere to and understand OSHA standards for all phases of the jobSetup and troubleshoot various video codecs and UCC devices Travel to various job sites required Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives Items To Consider AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account. This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment. Pay Type Min Rate Max Rate Hourly $33.10 $42.22 This pay range represents the base salary for this position. Actual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, and location.
