Senior Field Service Representative
About the role
Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Representative to provide advanced technical support for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning, and overhaul of reciprocating compressors and related equipment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position for an experienced field service professional who can independently diagnose complex mechanical issues, make sound technical decisions, and deliver high-quality service in demanding field environments. As a senior member of the field service team, you will also serve as a technical resource to other Field Service Representatives while working closely with customers, operations, project personnel, and management to ensure service assignments are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, commissioning, and overhaul of reciprocating compressors and associated equipment.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and equipment performance issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Perform compressor inspections, measurements, alignments, adjustments, and component replacements according to applicable specifications and procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, equipment manuals, specifications, service procedures, and work instructions.
- Use precision measurement instruments, specialty tools, and diagnostic equipment to inspect components and verify tolerances and operating conditions
