About the role

Our office in Falls Church, VA has an immediate opening for a Senior Facilities Technician. This is a non-exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Routine building maintenance including minor drywall patching and paint, touch up of walls, hanging of pictures/whiteboards/bulletin boards, spot cleaning of carpets, caulking, replacing ceiling tiles, installing light bulbs, changing ballasts, basic plumbing (cleaning drains, replacing faucets/toilets).
  • Maintaining stock rooms, receiving shipments, stocking shelves, rotating stock, removing trash, general upkeep of the office spaces.
  • Spot cleaning carpets, painting marred walls.
  • Assembling furniture and distributing the furniture to offices for setup.
  • Provide maintenance and repair services.
  • Affiliate in Government property inventory processes.
  • Affiliate in the upkeep, monitoring, and implementation of the corporation’s safety requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance or currently have an active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • The employee must frequently grasp, lift and /or move items over 25 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experiences and Background We Look For
