What You'll Do
- Perform a variety of advanced-level work in one or more of the trades, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC
- Perform general-advanced level tasks, repairs, and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, fleet, grounds, and off-site properties
- Supervise and mentor less experienced Facilities Technicians regarding work orders, repairs, technical information, and safety protocols
- Cookordinate projects, including estimating time and material costs, completing paperwork, and supervising work through completion
- Maintain inventory, manage vendors, and assist other departments when necessary
Qualifications You'll Need
- 4+ years of experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance; some supervisory experience preferred
- Proficiency using general power tools, meters, and testing devices
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs., squat, bend, reach, climb ladders, and work on rooftops
- Valid driver’s license and insurability at non-risk rates
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Some weekend, evening, and on-call (24-hour emergency response) work required
